The main reason I want to eat healthier is to be more successful in the wods and be stronger! I feel like everyone needs a reason to do something and without one, there is no motivation, no will power, no OOMF...yes OOMF. People need a goal and if my goal is to complete that hoe 'Fran' without a band, ya damn right I'll have two shakes a day and cut out sleepy carbs and head rush treats!
I talk a lot of shit about Paleo but I love it. I always have a lot of energy and never feel bloated. I can be completely full and satisfied and not feel like DEATH afterwards. Why am I such a shit talker then??? Maybe it's the devil on my shoulder saying, "Fuck everyone! Eat that burger/cake/fries and just work out after!" ...Yet, every time I've done that, I feel like a slaughtered pig. Just deadly! In order to do well and improve in my training, I HAVE to eat well! There is no other choice! Unless I want to feel dizzy, gross and miserable afterwards. I sound so annoying but it's true.
Eating healthier doesn't mean I'm trying to lose weight, it mean's I'm trying to eat healthier.
